The Vulcan Hart 00-719193 Range Single Pilot Valve 1/8" MPT X 3/16" CC manages the gas flow to the main burner by controlling the pilot flame, which maintains the same ignition. When the thermostat or control system requires heat, the valve opens to permit the gas to flow through to keep the flame burning. It is installed on commercial ranges and is connected to the existing gas line via a 1/8 in MPT inlet and a 3/16 in CC outlet. This element is close to the burner assembly and the pilot flame is controlled accurately to ensure that the operates correctly.
