The Vulcan Hart 00-497001-00002 Range Swivel Caster with Brake is a mobility component to fit compatible commercial appliances. It enables the unit to move freely on the floor surfaces as well as to maintain controlled positioning when the brake is attached. The caster is installed on the bottom of the range frame to aid in alignment, positioning and changing the layout. The built-in brake is useful in keeping the range in place after it is put there. This caster is usually used when rolling action is not even or the braking control is weak and helps to maintain the stable placement of equipment and controlled movement in the commercial kitchen.
