Description

The Garland 1955601 potentiometer is used for fine-tuning the temperature control of commercial ovens and it has three wire leads and three 1/4” female push-on terminals. This potentiometer enables the operators to vary the heat produced by this component, so the temperature can be set correctly required for baking. To achieve steady performances and maintain specific cooking temperatures, it enables variation of the resistance. Some advantages consist in increased cooking productivity, better quality of the meals, and stable performance in the conditions of high and constant load.

GARLAND:

Step1: Turn off the power to the range to prevent electrical problems.

Step2: Remove the control knob and access panel.

Step3: Disconnect the three-wire leads from the old potentiometer.

Step4: Remove mounting hardware and install the new potentiometer.

Step5: Reconnect wires to matching terminals securely.

Step6: Reinstall the panel and knob, restore power, and test the control operation.
