The Scotsman 12-2586-27 Water Pump is a water-circulation intended to be used in ice machines. It runs on 115V and it is in charge of supplying water over the evaporator plate, the water is frozen to create ice. When the ice making cycle starts the pumping machine drains the water in the machine reservoir and pumps it through the machine internal tubing to the evaporator surface. The cascading water forms a continuous film on the evaporator making freezing and cubing uniform. Poor quality and yield of ice are caused by a lack of high water circulation.
