Description

The Star Mfg K9-11160-21 Range Quartz Heater Element is a high-performing heating element commonly used in kitchens, especially in cheese melters. This element works at 104V and 1800W, and its heating is based on the use of infrared radiation to heat quickly and effectively. The glass envelope containing a tungsten filament makes possible direct heat transfer, which makes the food melt or broil evenly without wasting energy in heating the air. Advantages include quick heat up, selective heating and the material being tough, making it a necessary spare part that ensures improved efficiency and food quality in commercial use.
