The Frymaster 8261562 Fryer Solid State Relay Kit is a high-current electronic switching assembly used to regulate power to the heating circuit in compatible kitchen equipment. Rated for 240V and 40A, the kit contains a solid state relay, heatsink, and silicone thermal compound tube. The relay uses an electronic switching method to energize or interrupt the connected heating load in response to the fryer control signal. The heatsink draws operating heat away from the relay, while thermal compound improves heat transfer between the two surfaces. The assembly connects to the fryer controller, wiring and heating components within the electrical compartment.
