The Star Mfg SHM-197901 Quartz Element is used in compatible assemblies in the production of controlled radiant heat. It has been designed to support even heat transfer along the cooking path and is designed to be used in 208-volt electrical systems. The element is placed in the heating cavity to regulate temperature and the consistency of products. Quartz construction enables simple conversion of energy and consistency of use in high frequency. A replacement of a worn component can be used to restore the desired heat production, which can sustain a constant toasting effect service in a commercial foodservice settings.
