The Silver King 24800 Evaporator Coil SKP72 is made to absorb the heat of the surrounding air as refrigerant passes through its internal tubing, which makes the refrigerant evaporate and cool. The coil enables the heat exchange mechanism to occur whereby the low-pressure refrigerant is allowed to expand and attract thermal energy to aid the cooling process in the system. It is commonly fitted in the evaporator part of compatible refrigeration units where it directly comes into contact with airflow to sustain the temperature condition. The construction has found surfaces which enhance contact area with heat transfer during operation.
