Description

The Manitowoc 000006063 Water Inlet Solenoid Valve is an essential part of ice machines as they function at 115V and 60Hz. This solenoid valve controls the flow of water into the ice-making compartment so that the right quantity of water is allowed for the making of ice. When the machine needs water the solenoid is activated to allow water in and it shuts off when there is excess water. It is suggested that this valve has certain advantages: efficient use of energy necessary for making ice, prevention of water losses, and increased dependability of ice production, which plays an important role in commercial cooking and catering establishments.
