Description

The Middleby Marshall 28091-0017 Pilot Safety Valve with Reducing Bushings is a high quality Oven component for use with natural or LP gas system. Inlet/outlet is a 1/2” FPT gas inlet/outlet with a 1/8” FPT low flame bypass that makes it easy to control and operate commercial ovens safely. This valve is designed to be used with 120V systems and comes with a BASO brand 120V coil number S-142 as well as a 1/8” pipe plug. Suitable for different Lincoln, and Henny Penny models, it increases safety, durability, and productivity in intensive kitchen conditions.

Step1: Turn off the gas supply before starting installation.

Step2: Locate the pilot safety valve in the gas system.

Step3: Disconnect the oven thermocouple and gas line connections.

Step4: Remove the existing valve from its position.

Step5: Install the new valve with correct alignment.

Step6: Reconnect all fittings securely.

Step7: Restore gas supply slowly.

Step8: Check for leaks and proper pilot operation.
