Description

The Star Mfg 2V-80502-01 Solenoid Valve 1/2" Pipe 120V is electrically actuated part designed to control the flow of gasses or fluids in compatible commercial cooking equipment. It works by opening or closing a plunger inside the machine in response to an electrical signal to allow fine control of the supply when using the appliance. Usually installed in broilers, grills, cheesemelters and ovens where controlled flow is necessary to achieve secure and consistent performance. It is installed within the gas or fluid line assembly of the control system to enable the proper ignition, operation and shut-off of the equipment during cooking cycles.
