The Southbend SOU1099002 Pilot Adjustment Valve is a gas control component that is used to adjust pilot flame flow in compatible commercial ovens. It has a 1/8-inch MPT inlet and 1/4-inch compression outlet which allows the pilot gas volume to be adjusted to achieve correct ignition operation. The valve is fitted in the pilot supply line and this enables it to be regulated accurately during maintenance or installation. The purpose of this valve in the system is to assist steady pilot operation, which leads to secure operation and regular operation of the oven during use.
