Description

The Market Forge 10-5320 Tilting Kettle Safety Valve relieves excess steam pressure from the cooking system when pressure reaches its 15 PSIG setting. This 3/4-inch safety valve is installed in the steam pressure circuit of compatible commercial cooking equipment including tilting kettles and steam systems. During normal operation the valve remains closed while system pressure stays below the rated limit. When pressure exceeds the set point, the internal mechanism opens to release steam and reduce pressure. This protects the pressure vessel and associated components from excessive steam pressure.
