The T&S Brass 238AH Hot Stem Assembly Leadfree is a hot-water valve stem designed for use in compatible commercial faucets and water control fixtures. It regulates hot water flow through the valve while incorporating a slow-closing mechanism that reduces abrupt shut-off and limits water hammer within the plumbing system. Placed inside the hot-side valve body, the stem operates in conjunction with the faucet handle to provide controlled opening and closing of the water passage.
