The Imperial 1355 Plunger Style Door Microswitch operates by closing or breaking the electrical connection of the oven, when the door is opened or closed and makes sure that the related components work as intended. It operates by a spring-loaded plunger system which reacts to the movement of the door so the switch can control the flow of power accurately. This microswitch is normally placed close to the frame of the oven door where it can directly respond, to the movement of the door to control internal operations. It is small in size and can be installed into the existing electrical system of the appliance without any difficulty to other parts.
