The Star Mfg WS-60282 K-type Thermostat operates based on the principle of identifying variations in temperature in cooking or heating system and controlling the amount of heat supplied to the part to ensure that the range of operation remains steady. It works by the use of a temperature sensitive probe attached to a control mechanism that in response to the measured amount of heat opens or closes the circuit. This K-type thermostat has a sensing bulb with a diameter of 3/16" and a length of 12 inches and a 36 inch capillary to ensure accurate thermal measurement and response to control.
