The Star Mfg 2T-1182151 Thermostat TC125, 5/16" - 5"24 is a temperature-sensing and control element to be installed in compatible commercial cooking and holding equipment to measure internal temperatures and give a signal to the control system. It is installed in the temperature circuit of the unit, and will react to heat changes by closing or opening electric contacts to control heating parts or gas valves. This thermostat is a component of the thermal management system of this appliance that tries to ensure that the temperature conditions are kept constant during operation.
