The Garland 222040 Top Grate is a 3-bar cast iron cooking surface element that can be used on the compatible commercial ranges. It is 21-3/16 inches by 2-7/8 inches and is placed over the burner to hold cookware in the course of cooking activities. This grate enables the heat of the burner to be distributed uniformly to the pots and pans and at the same time the spacing above the flame is maintained. It is also frequently used in restaurants and institutional kitchens and is changed in the course of maintenance when the current grate is either cracked, warped, or uneven, which provide safe and stable cooking performance.
