Description

The Jackson 4820-002-53-77 Vacuum Breaker is used to prevent reverse flow within a connected water supply line for compatible commercial equipment. It has a cast body, a 3/4-inch NPT connection, and a 125 PSI pressure rating. During normal flow, water passes through the breaker while the internal mechanism remains in its operating position. If reverse pressure or vacuum develops, the mechanism changes position to interrupt backflow and protect the supply line. The vacuum breaker fits directly into the designated piping connection. Its placement provides backflow protection between the water supply and connected equipment.
