The Vulcan Hart VH111170-1 Strike Door has a secure point of contact with the door latch when closing the door. When the door is closed, the latch snaps into the strike and clips into the predetermined surface to hold the door closed until it is released. This strike is attached to the frame of cooking equipment that is compatible with the door matching the body. Its mounting holes and shape are specific to certain latch hardware and therefore engage properly. The component controls latch contact when opening and closing doors, as well as service without altering the parts.
