Description

The Victory VT50636401 Defrost Timer is a control component that is designed to control defrost cycles in commercial refrigeration systems. It operates by monitoring predetermined time intervals, and automatically turning the system off of the cooling mode and on to the defrost mode to defrost the evaporator coils with the heater and then switches the system back to normal operation. This is done to ensure that there is a better airflow and temperature consistency. It is installed in the control housing of compatible refrigerators and freezers where it is connected to the compressor and defrost circuit.
