The Market Forge 10-5806 Safety Valve is a gas control component that is used in controlling and securely distributing natural gas in commercial cooking equipment. It has a 1/2" inlet and 1/2" side outlets that direct the flow of gas to connected burners and pilot systems and ensures controlled operation. It is commonly used in appliances as it assists to maintain a stable heat production in foodservice conditions. This valve also operates as a safety mechanism in the system as it operates with a thermocouple to shut off the gas supply in the event of the loss of the pilot flame to assist prevent unsafe conditions.
