Description

The Southbend 1053997 Natural Gas Valve is designed to control the amount of gas flowing to the appliance, opening and closing based on changes in pressure to keep the appliance running consistently. It is connected to the supply line of gas by means of 1/2 inch female pipe thread and is set to run at 4 inches of water column pressure. This valve is commonly placed between the gas supply and the burner unit, and it regulates the volume of fuel supplied to be burned. It is small so that it can easily be fitted into commercial ovens or other cooking appliances.
