Description

The Cleveland 40455 Convection Steamer Probe Extension 3-Set is a specialized conductivity sensing component assembly designed to monitor liquid levels inside the commercial steam generator. Installed directly within the boiler tank, the three staggered stainless steel extension rods thread onto the low-water cutoff housing to establish electrical continuity through the boiler water. As water contacts or recedes from each probe tip, microamp currents pass to the liquid level control module to signal water volume requirements. This physical contact allows the main system board to actuate automatic water fill valves and energize or disable heating elements, preventing dry-fire conditions and maintaining proper operating pressures.
