Description

The Hobart 413840-00001 Thermoswitch 550°F is a temperature-sensitive control element used to monitor conditions inside commercial kitchen equipment. It is a disc-type sensor that responds to temperature changes by causing an internal switch action that opens or closes an electrical circuit connected to it. Switches connect to mounting points via fixed terminals, which provide stable electrical contact in the control loop. In a commercial cooking condition, the thermoswitch is able to regulate the power flow to downstream components and to control the temperature of the equipment due to its change of state when the temperature reaches the calibrated limit.
