The Hobart 714268 Thermocouple 18 20 30 mV 1980 Series. This is a flame-sensing safety component that is installed in commercial gas cooking appliances. It generates a small electrical signal when a pilot flame heats its sensing tip, and the control system can detect the presence of the flame and regulate the flow of the gas. This thermocouple will be fitted in the burner assembly where the pilot flame will touch the sensing tip. It is fitted with the appliance to aid in ensuring the operation of the appliance
