The Hobart 840343-2 Natural Gas Safety Valve 1/2" FPT side outlets is gas control unit that is used in commercial foodservice equipment. It manages and oversees the flow of natural gas in the appliance systems and will also automatically shut down in case of unsafe operating conditions. Placed in the gas train of cooking appliances like ovens, ranges or griddles, it assists in keeping the burners running at a steady level. It operates as a major safety and distribution point between the supply line of gas and the internal burner manifolds. In repair or replacement uses, it is normally installed by qualified tradesmen to make sure that it complies with the commercial kitchen gas safety regulations.
