Description

The Market Forge 90-4003 Steamer Thermostatic Steam Trap 1/2" MPT operates by sensing steam temperature to regulate condensate discharge. The thermostatic element opens and closes based on temperature differential, releasing condensate and non-condensable gases while preventing steam loss. It uses a temperature-sensitive element that responds to condensate cooler than steam, venting air during start-up and sealing when steam temperature is reached, maintaining proper steam-chamber operation during cycles. Installed in the steam line between the steamer chamber and condensate return line, positioned at a low point to allow condensate collection and continuous discharge into return piping, supporting separation of condensate from the steam flow path within the cooking equipment
