Description

The Blodgett BL40613 Safety Relief Valve is intended for use in selected steam-based commercial cooking equipment requiring pressure control. This valve acts as an automatic release mechanism that opens when the internal pressure exceeds the rated 50 PSI control, allowing excess pressure to discharge from the system. Featuring a 3/4" MNPT connection, it installs into compatible piping arrangements within the equipment. The valve performs a key role in maintaining regulated pressure levels, supporting the operation of steam equipment while assisting to protect internal chambers, fittings, and connected pressure components during normal service.
