Description

The Cleveland SKE54941-2 Safety Valve Steam 3/4" is a pressure relief valve designed to open at 50 PSI to discharge steam in a controlled manner preventing excess pressure from building up in a pressurized system. The disc movement is controlled by a built-in spring mechanism that repositions the disc when the pressure drops below the set value, thus re-establishing the sealed flow condition, and maintains the set pressure under varying conditions and repeated operation cycles. It is used in steam lines, boilers or pressurized vessels where overpressure protection is needed in industrial and commercial steam distribution systems to provide controlled steam release paths.
