Description

The Traulsen 324-21993-00 Defrost Control operates in refrigeration units by controlling the shutdown of compressors and turning on of heaters at timed intervals, and temperature feedback and controlled defrost timing cycles to control frost buildup in evaporator sections. It coordinates sensors and control logic to start defrost termination and restart normal cooling operation after cycles are done and checks system input signals and transitions between operating modes based on programmed defrost logic cycles. The module is commonly mounted in commercial refrigeration control assemblies mounted in the control circuit where defrost sequencing is controlled to operate the system.
