Customer Questions
What Maintenance is required for the Duke 600107 Dual Solenoid Gas Valve?

The Dual Solenoid Gas Valve’s connections and solenoid coil housings should be inspected quarterly for tightness and corrosion. Also inspect the ½″ FPT ports for leaks and ensure proper gasket seating to prevent gas seepage.

How do I install the Duke 600107 Dual Solenoid Gas Valve?

  • Shut off the appliance’s gas supply and power, and vent residual pressure.
  • Disconnect wiring from the original dual solenoids and unscrew the old ½″ FPT valve from the mounting location.
  • Mount the new valve, aligning the inlet and outlet correctly and ensuring the flow direction matches the original.
  • Reconnect wiring exactly as originally wired 120V coil and tighten all fittings.
  • Restore gas and power, then perform a leak test at all joints and verify proper actuation under control signal.

What are common issues with the Duke 600107 Dual Solenoid Gas Valve?

Common problems include one solenoid failing to energize, causing incomplete valve operation or no gas flow. Leaking seats or worn internal components may allow gas to bypass and cause persistent burner ignition or poor temperature control.

Which Duke models are compatible with the Duke 600107 Dual Solenoid Gas Valve?

This valve is compatible with Duke convection ovens in the 613-G2XX, 613-G2V, 613-G1XX, and 613-G1V model ranges.
