Description

The Cleveland KE55069-5 Safety Thermostat monitors temperature and opens the control circuit when the temperature reaches its preset limit in commercial equipment. This L6C-style thermostat uses a 24-inch capillary tube to sense temperature at the monitored place and transmit the response to the switching mechanism. It is installed in commercial cooking equipment to provide high-temperature protection for the heating system. When the sensed temperature exceeds the thermostat setting, the contacts open and interrupt power to the heating circuit. The thermostat resets when the temperature returns to its specified operating range allowing the control circuit to operate again.
