Description

The Ranco L6528 Safety Thermostat monitors temperature and interrupts the heating circuit when excessive heat is detected in compatible commercial equipment. It has a 24-inch sensing length and an L6C configuration. The sensing section responds to temperature changes at the monitored area and transfers the change to the thermostat mechanism. When the safety setting is reached, the internal electrical contacts change state and interrupt power to the related heating circuit. The thermostat fits at the designated control position with its sensing section extending into the heated area. Its placement connects temperature monitoring with the equipment's control circuit during normal operation.
