Description

The Southbend SOU1180866 Gas Safety Valve is a control component designed to regulate gas flow within commercial cooking ranges. It works together with a thermocouple or flame-sensing system where gas is only allowed to flow, when a stable flame is present. In case of flame loss the valve automatically closes to avoid the release of unburned gas. It is installed in the burner control system and is essential in ensuring secure and controlled combustion. The valve is frequently applied in replacement to enable the valve to resume normal secure operation and maintain consistent range operation in commercial kitchen settings.
