Step1: Turn off the gas supply and the low appliance to cool.
Step2: Locate the existing thermocouple near the pilot assembly.
Step3: Disconnect the thermocouple from the gas valve.
Step4: Remove mounting screw holding the old thermocouple.
Step5: Install the new thermocouple and reconnect securely.
Step6: Restore gas supply and test pilot operation.
