The Garland 1019418 Range Thermocouple 18" 20- 30mV is a sensing component that is used to detect the existence of a pilot flame in a range system. This thermocouple is mounted close to the pilot assembly to assist in regulated ignition reaction. It is directly connected to the gas safety circuit and responds to the temperature change on the flame source. Its position in the system is essential activity that assists in ignition accuracy, gas interruption limits, and assists in making the range continuous within regular cooking conditions.
