Description

The Cres Cor 0848-008 Thermostat is a temperature-sensing control that regulates heat within a hot cabinet in commercial foodservice equipment. The thermostat operates across a 0°F to 250°F range and is rated for 20A at 120/240 V. It is mounted in the cabinet control assembly with its sensing element positioned to respond to internal temperature changes. As the cabinet temperature rises or falls, the thermostat changes its electrical contacts to control power to the heating circuit. This switching action cycles the heater according to the selected temperature setting. Proper sensing element placement allows the thermostat to respond to temperature changes during cabinet operation.
