Description

The Cres Cor 6216-1 Hot Cabinet Thermostat is a mechanical temperature control that determines from the heat level within commercial equipment. The control is specified for 0°F to 250°F and carries a 20A rating for 120/240V operation. It is positioned in the thermostat mounting location with its temperature-sensing section exposed to the cabinet's heated area. Changes in internal temperature cause the thermostat contacts to open or close the connected electrical circuit. When the temperature moves away from the selected point, the contact position changes to call for more or less heat. This sequence regulates electrical supply to the heater throughout the operating cycle.
