The Cres Cor 6216-4 Hot Cabinet Thermostat is a temperature-sensitive switching control that regulates heat within commercial equipment. The thermostat operates from 0°F to 250°F and is rated for 20A at 120/240V. It is mounted in the cabinet's control area, where the sensing element responds to temperature changes within the heated compartment. As the internal temperature reaches the selected setting, the thermostat changes the electrical contact position and controls power supplied to the heating circuit. When the temperature drops, the contacts shift back to allow another heating cycle. This repeated response keeps heater operation linked to temperature changes inside the cabinet.
