The Hobart 412852-1 Top Grate 23-1/4" X 5-1/4" is a cast-iron grate positioned on the upper cooking deck of compatible commercial cooking equipment. Its 23-1/4-inch length and 5-1/4-inch width define the coverage area over the burner assembly and provide a stable platform for cookware. The grate’s openings allow flame and heated combustion gases to move upward toward the cooking vessel while supporting the vessel above the burner. It rests within the range’s grate supports and can be lifted away when the cooktop requires cleaning or access to the burner area.
