Description

The Hobart 806062 Top Grate Cast Iron 23-1/4" X 5-1/4" is a removable cast-iron support section used over the burner area of compatible commercial systems. With dimensions of 23-1/4 inches long and 5-1/4 inches wide, the grate occupies the specified cooktop position and keeps cookware at the required height above the flame. Its rigid structure carries the weight of pots and pans and transfers that load into the range supports. Open spaces between the grate sections provide a path for burner heat and combustion gases. The component can be removed to expose the burner area during cleaning or service.
