Description

The Dean 18012SC Gas Fryer Tube Screen is a barrier that is used in the heating tube assembly of a commercial unit. It is designed to fit a layout of 17-1/2" x 17-1/2" and is positioned around the internal heat exchange tubes in the fry tank. The heat created in the burner section is conducted through the tubes, and the screen keeps the food apart from the heating surface and prevents food from accumulating on the surface. It is still held in place in the tube compartment and operates in conjunction with the internal heat pathway to ensure even heat distribution.
