Description

The Hobart 342857-00002 Safety Thermostat measures temperature and acts when the detected temperature is at the thermostat setting to control the heating circuit in the equipment. The sensing bulb senses temperature changes, and the capillary tube conducts the temperature response to the thermostat mechanism to switch operation. The thermostat has its 1/4" x 6-1/2" bulb in the temperature sensing area and the 30" capillary is attached to the thermostat bulb and the control assembly. It is used in commercial foodservice equipment, where temperature control and safety monitoring are part of the equipment operating system.
