Description

The Hobart 5225-00E Safety Thermostat is designed to prevent overheating by shutting off the heating circuit when the commercial equipment temperature is detected as being too high. It has a 1/4" x 6-1/2" bulb that senses changes in temperature and sends the signal to the thermostat mechanism through the 30" capillary to control the circuit. The component is placed in the temperature zone to be sensed, and the thermostat is made part of the electrical control circuit of the equipment. It is used in commercial foodservice equipment where temperature control and a safety cut-off are needed.
