Description

The Hobart 346358-1 Convection Oven High Limit Thermostat Disc Type is a temperature-sensing safety component used to monitor heat inside compatible commercial systems. The disc-type design responds to excessive temperature by changing its electrical state when the preset limit is reached. Installed near the heated oven chamber or designated sensing location, it monitors the surrounding temperature during operation. When the temperature rises beyond the thermostat’s switching point, the system opens or changes the circuit to interrupt power to the related heating control. As the oven cools, the thermostat can return to its normal electrical position, coordinating heat protection with the oven’s control circuit.
