The Hobart 346358-2 Convection Oven High Limit Thermostat Disc Type is a thermal protection component designed to sense excessive heat in compatible commercial kitchen equipment. Its disc-type construction uses temperature-responsive switching to control the electrical circuit when the surrounding temperature reaches the specified limit. Mounted within the oven’s heated area or adjacent to the designated heat-sensing point, it remains exposed to operating temperatures while the appliance runs. A rise beyond the allowable threshold causes the thermostat contacts to change state, stopping the heating circuit from continuing to energize.
