Description

The Hobart 958827-G3 Convection Oven High Limit Thermostat Disc Type is a thermal protection component used to monitor excessive heat in compatible commercial kitchen equipment. Its disc-type construction uses a temperature-responsive switching mechanism that changes electrical contact state when the preset limit is reached. When the surrounding temperature rises beyond the switching threshold, the contacts change state and interrupt the associated heating circuit. As the temperature returns to a lower level, the thermostat can restore its normal contact position according to its operating design, coordinating heat protection with the oven controls.
