The Hobart 00-347182-1 Safety Thermostat controls temperature by detecting heat in its bulb and opening and closing the electrical circuit as needed when the temperature being monitored exceeds the set point. It is switching in nature and can control heating operation and can also act as a temperature-limiting operation inside the equipment. The thermostat is mounted with the 1/4" by 6-1/2" sensing bulb at the desired heat-monitoring point and the 30" capillary is used to connect the sensing bulb. It is used in commercial foodservice equipment that requires temperature regulation and over-temperature protection as part of the equipment heating control system.
