The Hobart 00-937210-1 Bowl Guard Wire Cage is an enclosure of the bowl to isolate rotating attachments in the bowl and the rest of the surrounding area during mixing cycles. It works by being installed in the guard support system where it stays in place as the mixer is running. It is designed to work in tandem with the interlock mechanism of the unit and when properly installed, it helps to operate the unit in a controlled manner. This guard is attached to the front of the mixer, and is attached to the hinge and support points towards the bowl. As a protective element, it is a part of the mixer safety system of operation.
